Assalamu Alaikum. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of you.
It was not a long time ago; however, just couple of days back the topic of 'pedophilia' was 'talk of the town' on the forum of Answering FaithFreedom.org. Even if you rummage around Internet you would find this precise topic a 'hot one' among populace likewise Ali Sina. Therefore, I hereby announce to my fellow readers that I am all-in-all available to have a debate with anyone on the topic of 'pedophilia' and afterwards 'Aisha's Marriage with Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)'.
In my opinion, Muslims would be placed in the second phase where they have to defend their Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) from such a 'charge'. At the outset, I desire to scrutinize the charge itself and look for its commendable credibility. I have sets of questions to solicit if someone is willing to have a debate with me. Well, if someone does not like to debate then we can have a friendly discussion as well. I am here to discuss the so-called 'issue' and do not have any desire to impose my facts onto someone. If someone can prove to me that 'Pedophilia' is not good, then I am much more willing to accept it. I am not going to turn away my back; or else it would surely injure my own reputation in the end. We are going to discuss on the basis of 'agree or disagree'. I believe this is fair enough.
Therefore, at the outset, we will discuss about the term 'Pedophilia' where I shall ask couple of questions for which I have not received any laudable answers yet from anyone. It seems like people are afraid on a notion if 'someone questions the questioner'. Afterwards, getting answers from my opponent till the degree of my agreement or disagreement we shall move to the second phase where my opponent shall have the privilege to ask me questions regarding 'Aisha's (R.A) Marriage with Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)'.
The only reason to post such a challenge on the website and to highlight it, is that Muslims have been defending this 'issue' for quite a long time and when one Muslim started questioning the questioner himself; everyone seems to be hiding their faces. I failed to perceive the dilemma over here? Why people are feeling so insecure in answering questions. I have tried several times conversing with people verbally who label Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) with such a term; but when I started questioning them regarding their own faith in this term, they all decided to keep mum. I am not aware why people feel so insecure and afraid if someone questions them. We always have a liberty to take things as knowledge and learn from them. And we also have a liberty to discuss on the basis of 'agree or disagree'.
I would very much like to quote Ali Sina over here:
"Don't you like to free your Prophet from this charge?" (Whisper: I actually laughed a lot on this idiotic statement) "Mr. Sina! Well, here I am; however, first I would like to scrutinize the 'charge' itself. I am ready, are you?"
Therefore, if someone desires to take up my challenge to debate; either he can converse by email or he can join the forum. In any case, I am going to post the discussion on the website for world to see. Please find below my email address:
